Privacy Policy
Last updated June 2026
LexSteward is a marketing-technology platform for law firms. This policy explains what data we do and do not handle when you use this website, our interactive tools, and the firm websites we power. This policy describes practices for visitors and firms in the United States.
The interactive tools keep no data
Our calculators and estimators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type to get an estimate are not transmitted to us and not stored, they stay on your device. We do not collect, retain, or train on the information entered into a tool.
What we collect, and only when you ask us to
The only information that leaves your browser is what you deliberately submit, for example, when you ask a firm to contact you, request an audit by email, or subscribe to a newsletter. In those cases we relay the contact details you provide (such as name, email, or phone) to the relevant firm or to our email provider, solely to fulfil that request. We do not sell personal information, and we do not store claimant case details as a profile.
Consent and tracking
Privacy-protective defaults ship on: disclaimers, accessibility, and tracking-consent are enabled by default, and non-essential tracking does not run until you consent. Newsletter sign-up requires your email and your consent, and you can ask us to unsubscribe you at any time.
Where data lives (data residency)
Each firm is assigned a data region at signup based on its country; firm data, databases, media, backups, and AI routing, stays in that region.
Firm-controlled data and AI
For firms that use our practice-management system, client and case data is handled inside our boundary and is never sent to an outside AI without the firm’s explicit, contracted opt-in. We do not retain or train on a firm’s client data. A firm can export everything it creates at any time, there is no lock-in.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from email at any time, decline non-essential tracking, and request access to or deletion of the limited contact information you have submitted. To make a request, email privacy@lexsteward.com.
Changes
We will update this policy as our practices evolve and will revise the date above when we do.
This page describes our data architecture in plain language and is being finalized with counsel before launch. For how AI specifically handles firm and client data, see How our AI works.
